Cocktail Base

Method

Strawberry Swirl

1

Make strawberry puree

Combine the fresh or frozen strawberries, strawberry syrup (or puree), lemon juice, and optional 0.5 tsp sugar in a blender. Pulse until smooth. If you prefer a very smooth sauce, strain through a fine mesh sieve to remove seeds. Transfer about 2 oz of the puree to a squeeze bottle or a small pitcher for easy swirling.

2

Reserve an additional 1–2 tablespoons of the puree to drizzle inside the glass for visual layering before adding the cocktail.

Cocktail Base

3

Blend the base

In a blender, add the Hennessy, aged rum, coconut cream, pineapple juice, lime juice, simple syrup, and the 3 cups of ice. Blend on high until thick and slushy (about 20–30 seconds), adjusting texture with more ice for thicker or more pineapple juice for thinner. Taste and adjust sweetness with additional simple syrup if desired.

4

If you do not have a blender, combine all liquid ingredients with crushed ice in a shaker and shake vigorously for 30 seconds, then pour into the serving glass over ice.

Assembly & Garnish

5

Prepare the XL glass

Chill the jumbo XL glass briefly if possible. Using the reserved 1–2 tablespoons of strawberry puree, drizzle the inside walls of the glass in a decorative spiral or streaks. This creates the strawberry swirl appearance when the cocktail is added.

6

Carefully pour or spoon the blended cocktail base into the prepared glass, leaving about 1.5–2 inches of headspace at the top so the mini bottle can be suspended without overflowing. Pour slowly to preserve the swirl lines on the glass walls.

7

Insert mini Hennessy

Place the 50 ml mini Hennessy bottle into the drink so it hangs partially inside. If needed, clip the neck to the rim with a cocktail pick or rest the bottle at an angle against the rim so it is secure and looks intentional. Ensure the bottle is stable and not fully submerged.

8

Using the squeeze bottle or a spoon, add additional strawberry puree in thin lines over the top of the slushy cocktail for a bright surface swirl. You can use a straw or skewer to drag through the puree gently to create a marbled effect.

9

Top with an optional dollop of whipped cream if desired, then garnish with a strawberry slice and pineapple wedge on a toothpick, and a mint sprig for aroma. Serve with a reusable straw long enough to reach the bottom of the XL glass.
