Method
Cocktail Base
Prepare shaker
Fill a large cocktail shaker halfway with large ice cubes (about 2 cups).
Combine spirits and juices
Pour 5 oz Wray & Nephew overproof rum, 1 oz light rum, 6 oz fresh pineapple juice, 4 oz fresh orange juice and 1 oz fresh lime juice into the shaker.
Add grenadine
Add 1 oz grenadine to the shaker to provide color and sweetness.
Shake
Secure the shaker lid and shake vigorously for 12–15 seconds until the outside of the shaker is frosty and well chilled.
Build & Finish
Adjust sweetness
Taste and adjust: add up to 0.5 oz additional grenadine if you prefer sweeter, or a splash more lime juice if you want brighter acidity.
Garnish & Serve
Candy and fruit garnish
Arrange 4 cocktail cherries and 2 pineapple wedges on the rim or on cocktail picks. Thread assorted candy (about 6 pieces total — e.g., gummy fish, sour belts, candy necklace) onto skewers or drape around the rim and press a rock candy stick into the bowl for a playful stirrer.
