Crème Brûlée French Toast
Method
Instructions
Prepare the Batter
In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, heavy cream, milk, vanilla extract, brown sugar, and cinnamon until well combined.
Soak the Bread
Dip each slice of Texas toast into the batter, making sure to coat both sides evenly. Let the bread soak for a few minutes to absorb the mixture.
Cook the French Toast
Heat a large skillet or griddle over medium heat and add butter. Once melted, place the soaked slices of bread on the skillet. Cook for 3-4 minutes on each side, or until golden brown.
Serve
Serve the French toast warm, topped with fresh seasonal fruit and a drizzle of warm maple syrup.
