Heat the water to about 65°C (149°F) and add the malted barley and corn. Stir and maintain this temperature for about 60 minutes to allow the starches to convert to sugars.

Mashing

After mashing, transfer the mixture to a lauter tun and separate the liquid wort from the grain. Rinse the grains with hot water to extract more sugars.

Lautering

Bring the wort to a boil and add the hops. Boil for 60 minutes to extract bitterness and flavor from the hops.

Boiling

After boiling, cool the wort rapidly to about 20°C (68°F) using a wort chiller.

Cooling

Transfer the cooled wort to a fermentation vessel and add the yeast. Seal the vessel and allow it to ferment for about 1-2 weeks.

Fermentation

Once fermentation is complete, transfer the beer to bottles, add a small amount of sugar for carbonation, and cap them.

Bottling

Let the bottles age for at least 2 weeks to allow carbonation to develop before enjoying your Coors beer.
