Method
Prepare Fruit Base
Sweeten and mix
Place the chopped mango, passion fruit pulp, lime juice, and granulated sugar in a blender or food processor. Let sit 2–3 minutes so the sugar begins to dissolve into the fruit juices.
Blend until smooth
Add half of the cold water to the blender. Blend on high for 45–60 seconds until completely smooth and no large fruit fibers remain. Scrape down the sides once and blend again for 10–15 seconds.
Adjust Texture & Chill
Add creaminess (optional)
If using Greek yogurt for a creamier texture, add it now with the remaining water and pulse 2–3 quick times until incorporated. This yields a thicker, smoothie-like Mango Passion Fruit.
Add ice and finalize
Add ice cubes to the blender and blend 20–30 seconds until the mixture is slushy but still pourable. Taste and adjust: add up to 1 additional tablespoon sugar if not sweet enough, or 1 teaspoon lime juice if too sweet.
Serve & Garnish
Pour the Mango Passion Fruit into two glasses. Garnish each with a few passion fruit seeds/pulp spooned on top, a slice of mango on the rim, and a sprig of fresh mint. Serve immediately.
If making ahead: store in an airtight container in the refrigerator up to 24 hours. Stir well before serving; texture may separate slightly.
