Shrimp Preparation
Clean the Shrimp
Rinse the jumbo shrimp under cold water to remove any debris. Pat them dry with paper towels.
Boil the Shrimp
In a large pot, bring water to a rolling boil. Add the cleaned shrimp and boil for 2-3 minutes until they turn pink and opaque.
Chill the Shrimp
Remove the shrimp from the pot and plunge them into ice water to stop the cooking process. Let them cool for about 5 minutes, then drain and pat dry.
Cocktail Sauce Preparation
Mix the Ingredients
In a mixing bowl, combine the ketchup, horseradish, lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, and hot sauce. Stir well until all ingredients are fully incorporated.
Season the Sauce
Taste the cocktail sauce and add salt to taste. Mix again to ensure the salt is evenly distributed.
Serving
Plate the Shrimp
Arrange the chilled shrimp on a serving platter.
Serve with Sauce
Serve the shrimp with a side of cocktail sauce for dipping.
