Mai Tai (Classic Hula’s Well style)

Pineapple Ginger Smash (House refreshing)

Method

Mai Tai (Classic Hula’s Well style)

  1. 1

    Build and shake

Add aged rum, orange curaçao, orgeat, fresh lime juice, and simple syrup into a cocktail shaker filled about halfway with ice. Shake vigorously for 10–15 seconds until well chilled.

  2. 2

    Serve

Fill a double old-fashioned glass or tiki mug with crushed ice. Strain the shaken mixture over the crushed ice.

  3. 3

    Dark rum float

Slowly pour the dark rum over the back of a spoon so it floats on top of the drink, creating a layered effect.

  4. 4

    Garnish

Garnish with a fresh mint sprig (lightly slap between your palms to release aroma) and a lime wheel. Serve with a short straw and stirrer.

Pineapple Ginger Smash (House refreshing)

  1. 5

    Muddle (optional)

If you prefer more texture, place a small pineapple chunk in the bottom of a shaker and gently muddle once to release extra juice. This step is optional; fresh juice works fine without muddling.

  2. 6

    Build and shake

In a cocktail shaker, combine vodka, fresh pineapple juice, fresh lime juice, and ginger syrup with ice. Shake vigorously for 8–12 seconds until chilled.

  3. 7

    Serve and top

Strain into a Collins or highball glass filled with crushed or cubed ice. Top with 2 oz soda water and gently stir once to integrate.

  4. 8

    Garnish

Garnish with a pineapple wedge or a small pineapple leaf. Serve with a straw.

Hula’s Well Hibiscus Spritz (Low ABV option)

  1. 9

    Build in glass

Fill a wine glass halfway with ice cubes. Add hibiscus syrup and aperitif (or dry vermouth) and fresh lemon juice.

  2. 10

    Top with bubbles

Gently top with 3 oz chilled prosecco or sparkling wine. Stir once gently to combine and avoid flattening the bubbles.

  3. 11

    Garnish

Twist a lemon peel over the glass to release oils, drop it in as garnish, and serve.
