Cocktail

1

Chill glass

Place a martini or coupe glass in the freezer for 5–10 minutes or fill it with ice water while you prepare the cocktail to thoroughly chill the glass. Empty ice water before straining the drink into it.

2

Measure ingredients

Using a jigger, measure 1.5 oz Mr Black coffee liqueur, 1.5 oz Pinnacle Whipped Vodka, and 0.5 oz cold brew coffee. If you prefer a slightly sweeter drink, measure 0.25 oz simple syrup.

3

Add to shaker

Add the measured liqueur, vodka, cold brew (and optional simple syrup) into the cocktail shaker. Add approximately 1 cup of ice to fill the shaker about two-thirds full—enough to properly chill and dilute.

4

Dry shake (optional)

For a slightly frothier top, first seal the shaker and shake vigorously without ice for 10 seconds to aerate the mixture.

5

Hard shake

Add ice if you dry-shook. Seal the shaker and shake hard for 12–18 seconds until the exterior of the shaker becomes very cold and you hear the ice slapping inside. This chills and dilutes the drink and helps create a silky texture.

6

Strain

Remove the chilled glass from the freezer or discard ice water. Double-strain the cocktail (using the shaker strainer and, if desired, a fine mesh strainer) into the chilled martini/coupe glass to remove any tiny ice shards and ensure a smooth surface.

Garnish

7

Gently float three whole coffee beans on the surface of the cocktail, arranging them in a triangular pattern for a classic espresso martini presentation.

8

Serve immediately. Provide a small napkin or coaster. Recommend sipping within 10–15 minutes while chilled.

Cleanup

9

Rinse the shaker and strainer with warm water to remove coffee oils, then wash with warm soapy water to prevent lingering flavors. Dry equipment before storing.
