Deviled Eggs Ingredients

Method

Instructions

  1. 1

    Boil the Eggs

Place the eggs in a pot and cover them with water. Bring the water to a boil over medium-high heat. Once boiling, cover the pot, remove it from heat, and let it sit for 12 minutes.

  2. 2

    Cool and Peel

After 12 minutes, transfer the eggs to a bowl of ice water to cool for about 5 minutes. Once cooled, gently tap the eggs on a hard surface and peel them under running water to remove the shells.

  3. 3

    Prepare the Filling

Slice the peeled eggs in half lengthwise. Remove the yolks and place them in a mixing bowl. Add mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, white vinegar, salt, and black pepper. Mash the yolks and mix until smooth.

  4. 4

    Fill the Egg Whites

Using a spoon or piping bag, fill the egg white halves with the yolk mixture. Sprinkle paprika on top for garnish.

  5. 5

    Garnish and Serve

Chop chives or parsley and sprinkle over the filled eggs for additional garnish. Serve immediately or refrigerate until ready to serve.
