Sparkling Water

Method

Sparkling Water

  1. 1

    Chill Bottle

Ensure the S. Pellegrino bottle has been chilled in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours (or in an ice bucket for 20–30 minutes) so it is pleasantly cold when served.

  2. 2

    Prepare Glass

Select a tall Collins glass or an appropriate water glass. If using ice, add 4–6 ice cubes to the glass. If preferring no ice, skip this step to preserve carbonation and flavor.

  3. 3

    Open Bottle

Hold the chilled S. Pellegrino bottle upright. Unscrew or remove the cap gently to avoid excessive fizz and overflow. Pour slowly to retain bubbles.

  4. 4

    Pour

Tilt the glass slightly and pour the S. Pellegrino slowly down the side to preserve carbonation and minimize foam. Fill to about 3/4–4/5 full to leave room for a garnish if using.

  5. 5

    Garnish (optional)

If desired, garnish with a lemon wedge on the rim or drop a single lemon wedge into the glass for a subtle citrus note. Add a fresh mint sprig for aroma. Do not muddle — just place gently to avoid releasing juices that change the clean flavor.

  6. 6

    Serve

Serve immediately while carbonated. Offer a straw or stirring stick if the guest wants to mix in the garnish slowly. Replace the bottle cap if there is leftover water and refrigerate to maintain carbonation.
