Season the beef patties with salt and black pepper on both sides. Preheat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat.

Prepare the Beef Patties

Place the beef patties on the grill or skillet and cook for about 4-5 minutes on one side. Flip them and place a slice of 'Merican cheese on each patty. Cook for an additional 3-4 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the patties are cooked to your desired doneness.

Cook the Patties

While the patties are cooking, toast the burger bun on the grill or in a toaster until golden brown.

Toast the Bun

Place one beef patty on the bottom half of the toasted bun, followed by the second patty with melted cheese. Top with the other half of the bun.

In a large bowl, season the ground beef with salt and black pepper. Divide the beef into 4 equal portions and shape each portion into a patty.

Prepare Patties

Preheat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until they reach your desired doneness.

Cook Patties

During the last minute of cooking, place a slice of American cheese on each patty and cover to melt the cheese.

Add Cheese

While the cheese is melting, toast the burger buns on the grill or in a toaster until golden brown.

Toast Buns

On the bottom half of each bun, place a cheeseburger patty, followed by a generous amount of pickles, sliced onions, and a dollop of your special sauce. Top with the other half of the bun.

Assemble Burgers

Serve the burgers immediately while hot, with extra pickles and onions on the side if desired.
