Prepare the Wings
Season the Wings
In a large bowl, combine the chicken wings, olive oil, smoked paprika, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Toss until evenly coated.
Make the Thai Crab Caramel Sauce
Combine Ingredients
In a saucepan over medium heat, combine the crab meat, coconut milk, brown sugar, fish sauce, and lime juice. Stir until the sugar is dissolved.
Simmer
Bring the mixture to a simmer and let it cook for 10-15 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld and the sauce to thicken slightly. Adjust seasoning with red chili flakes to taste.
Serve
Plate the Wings
Once the wings are done smoking, remove them from the smoker and let them rest for a few minutes.
Drizzle and Garnish
Drizzle the Thai crab caramel sauce over the wings, then sprinkle with toasted pine nuts and sliced green onions before serving.
