Heat 20 liters of water to 65°C (149°F) and add the pale malt and caramel malt. Maintain this temperature for 60 minutes.

Mashing

After mashing, drain the wort from the grains and rinse the grains with hot water to collect more sugars.

Lautering

Bring the wort to a boil. Once boiling, add 100 grams of bittering hops and boil for 60 minutes. Add 50 grams of flavor hops with 15 minutes left in the boil, and 50 grams of aroma hops at the end of the boil.

Boiling

Cool the wort quickly using a wort chiller or an ice bath to around 20°C (68°F).

Cooling

Transfer the cooled wort to a sanitized fermenter and pitch the yeast. Seal the fermenter and let it ferment for 1-2 weeks at room temperature.

Fermentation

Once fermentation is complete, dissolve 150 grams of priming sugar in boiling water and add it to the beer before bottling. Bottle the beer and cap it.

Bottling

Let the bottles sit at room temperature for another 1-2 weeks to carbonate before chilling and enjoying.
