Chill glass (optional)
If you prefer a colder drink, place a highball glass in the freezer for 5–10 minutes or fill it with ice water while you prepare ingredients, then discard the ice water before building the cocktail.
Fill a highball glass with ice cubes until about 3/4 full.
Measure and pour 2 oz Absolut Citron vodka over the ice.
Pour 4 oz premium pulp-free orange juice gently into the glass. Stir once or twice with a bar spoon to combine—do not over-stir; the aim is a smooth blend, not dilution.
Taste quickly and adjust: add an additional 1/2 oz orange juice if you want it lighter, or 1/2 oz vodka if you prefer stronger. Stir gently after adjusting.
Garnish with an orange wheel on the rim or floated on top.
Optional finishing
If using, grate about 1 teaspoon fresh orange zest over the top for an aromatic lift. Drop in a cocktail cherry if desired.
Serve immediately with a straw or stirring stick.
