Chill the keg or bottle to 45°F (7°C). For draft service, ensure the draft line is clean and beer is being dispensed at cellar temperature (around 45°F) to present hop character and malt balance.

Chill

Select a clean tulip or nonic pint glass. Rinse the inside of the glass briefly with cold water to remove dust and slightly chill the glass. Empty excess water so it doesn't overly dilute foam.

Prepare Glassware

Tilt the glass at 45 degrees and begin pouring the beer gently down the side. When the glass is about halfway full, slowly tilt upright and pour into the center to produce a 1–1.5 inch (2–4 cm) creamy head. For keg/draft, open the tap fully and pull in a smooth motion to avoid excess foam.

Pour

Check appearance — beer should present amber-copper color with a moderate off-white head and good clarity. Serve immediately at ~45°F to preserve hop aroma and malt sweetness. For bottle service, allow to settle briefly after opening and pour as above.

Finish

If desired, express an orange or grapefruit twist over the glass and drop it in to add a bright citrus note that complements the hop profile.

Serve alongside spiced nuts or a small plate of sharp cheddar to enhance the beer's toasty malt and hop bitterness. Recommend tasting small sips between bites to appreciate balance.
