Prep ingredients
Rinse and pat dry the lettuce leaves. Wash the tomato and cut into 3-4 thin slices. If bacon is not yet cooked, cook 4 slices in a skillet over medium heat until crisp; drain on paper towels. Shred or grate the mozzarella and cheddar and combine them in a small bowl. Lay out the two slices of bread.
Assemble and melt cheese
On one slice of bread (untoasted side up), place all 6 slices of turkey in an even layer. Sprinkle the combined mozzarella and cheddar evenly over the turkey. Transfer the open sandwich back to the warm skillet (cheese side up) and cover the skillet with a lid for 1–2 minutes to help the cheese melt. Check until cheese is melted and beginning to bubble.
Add bacon and produce
Once the cheese is melted, remove the sandwich from the skillet. Layer the cooked bacon strips over the melted cheese. Season the tomato slices lightly with the 0.25 tsp salt and 1 tsp black pepper. Place tomato slices on top of the bacon, then add the lettuce leaves.
Dress and finish
Drizzle 2 tablespoons of Creamy Italian dressing over the lettuce and tomato. Place the second slice of bread on top, toasted side up, to close the sandwich. Press gently to compress the sandwich slightly.
Serve
Using a sharp knife, slice the sandwich in half diagonally if desired. Serve immediately while the cheese is warm. Optional: serve with chips, a pickle, or a side salad.
