Preparation
Prepare the Glass
Chill a cocktail glass by filling it with ice water. Let it sit while you prepare the drink.
Mix the Ingredients
In a cocktail shaker, combine 1.5 oz of E&J Brandy, 2 oz of apple cider, and 0.5 oz of simple syrup.
Shake the Mixture
Add ice to the shaker and shake vigorously for about 15-20 seconds until the mixture is well-chilled.
Serving
Strain and Serve
Discard the ice water from the cocktail glass. Use a cocktail strainer to pour the mixture into the chilled glass.
Garnish
Garnish the drink with a slice of Du Nord apple on the rim of the glass for an elegant touch.
