Method
Tea Preparation

Boil Water
In a medium saucepan, bring 4 cups of water to a boil over high heat.

Steep Tea
Once boiling, remove from heat and add 4 black tea bags. Let steep for 5-7 minutes depending on how strong you want your tea.

Remove Tea Bags
After steeping, carefully remove the tea bags and discard them.
Sweetening (optional)

Add Sweetener
If desired, stir in 1 cup of granulated sugar or honey while the tea is still warm, until dissolved.
Cooling and Serving

Let Cool
Allow the tea to cool to room temperature, or chill it in the refrigerator for faster cooling.

Prepare Ice
Fill a glass with 2 cups of ice cubes.

Pour Tea
Once cool, pour the tea over the ice-filled glass.

Add Flavorings (optional)
Garnish with fresh mint leaves and lemon slices if desired.
