For the Blackened Shrimp

    Prepare the Spice Mix

    In a small bowl, combine paprika, cayenne pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, dried oregano, salt, and black pepper. Mix well.

    Pat the shrimp dry with paper towels. Toss the shrimp with the olive oil and the spice mix until well coated.

    Cook the Shrimp

    Heat a skillet over high heat. Add the seasoned shrimp and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until they are blackened and cooked through. Remove from heat and set aside.

For the Cabbage Slaw

    In a large bowl, combine the shredded cabbage and grated carrot.
