Preparation Steps
- 1
Prepare the Shrimp
Bring a pot of salted water to a boil. Add the jumbo shrimp and cook for 2-3 minutes, or until they turn pink and opaque. Remove the shrimp from the water and plunge them into an ice bath to stop the cooking process. Once cooled, peel and devein the shrimp, leaving the tails on for presentation.
- 2
Make the Cocktail Sauce
In a mixing bowl, combine the ketchup, horseradish, lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, and hot sauce. Stir well to combine and season with salt to taste.
- 3
Serve
Arrange the shrimp on a serving plate. Serve with a small bowl of the spicy cocktail sauce and garnish with lemon wedges on the side.
