For the Sauce

Method

Preparing the Chicken Wings

  1. 1

    Preheat the Oven

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).

  2. 2

    Prepare the Wings

In a large bowl, combine the chicken wings with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and baking powder. Drizzle the olive oil over the wings and toss to coat evenly.

  3. 3

    Arrange on Baking Sheet

Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or aluminum foil for easier cleanup. Place the seasoned chicken wings in a single layer on the baking sheet.

  4. 4

    Bake the Wings

Bake the chicken wings in the preheated oven for 40-45 minutes, flipping halfway through, until they are crispy and golden brown.

Making the Sauce

  1. 5

    Melt the Butter

In a small saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter.

  2. 6

    Combine Ingredients

Once the butter is melted, add the hot sauce, honey, minced garlic, and vinegar. Stir well to combine.

  3. 7

    Simmer the Sauce

Allow the sauce to simmer for about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the flavors meld.

Tossing and Serving

  1. 8

    Toss the Wings in Sauce

Once the wings are done baking, remove them from the oven and place them in a large bowl. Pour the hot sauce mixture over the wings and toss to coat evenly.

  2. 9

    Serve

Transfer the coated wings to a serving platter and serve immediately with your choice of dipping sauce or ranch dressing on the side.
