Method

Prepare the Pork Chop

  1. 1

    Season the Pork Chop

Sprinkle salt, black pepper, and garlic powder evenly over both sides of the pork chop. Let it sit for about 10 minutes to absorb the seasoning.

  2. 2

    Cook the Pork Chop

In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the pork chop and cook for about 5-7 minutes on each side or until the internal temperature reaches 145°F (63°C). Remove from the skillet and let it rest for a few minutes.

Assemble the Sandwich

  1. 3

    Prepare the Kaiser Roll

Slice the Kaiser roll horizontally. Optionally, you can toast the inside of the roll on a skillet for extra crunch.

  2. 4

    Layer the Ingredients

Place the cooked pork chop on the bottom half of the Kaiser roll. Top with a leaf of lettuce, a slice of onion, and 2 slices of pickle.

  3. 5

    Complete the Sandwich

Cover with the top half of the Kaiser roll. Press down gently to secure the toppings.
