Prepare the Burger Patties

Season the Beef
In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, salt, and black pepper. Mix gently until just combined, being careful not to overwork the meat.

Form Patties
Divide the seasoned beef into four equal portions and shape each portion into a patty about 1-inch thick.
Cook the Patties

Add Cheese
After flipping, place a slice of Swiss cheese on each patty and cook for an additional 4-5 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the burgers are cooked to your desired doneness.
Sauté the Mushrooms

Cook Mushrooms
Add the sliced mushrooms and cook for about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until they are golden brown.

Finish with Parsley
Remove from heat and stir in the chopped fresh parsley.
Assemble the Burger

Toast Rolls
Optional: Cut the Kaiser rolls in half and toast them lightly on the grill or in a toaster.

Build the Burger
Place the cooked burger patty with melted Swiss cheese on the bottom half of each Kaiser roll. Top with the sautéed mushrooms and cover with the top half of the roll.

Serve immediately with your favorite sides, such as fries or a salad.
