Method

Prepare the Fajita Meat

  1. 1

    Marinate the Beef

In a bowl, combine the beef flank steak with olive oil and fajita seasoning. Mix well to coat the beef and let it marinate for at least 30 minutes.

  2. 2

    Cook the Beef

Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Add the marinated beef and cook for 4-5 minutes on each side, or until the beef is cooked to your desired doneness. Remove from the skillet and let it rest before slicing into thin strips.

Sauté the Vegetables

  1. 3

    Chop the Vegetables

Slice the green bell pepper, red bell pepper, and onion into thin strips.

  2. 4

    Cook the Vegetables

In the same skillet used for the beef, add a little olive oil if necessary. Sauté the sliced peppers and onions for about 5-7 minutes until they are tender and slightly caramelized.

Assemble the Salad

  1. 5

    Combine Ingredients

In a large serving bowl, combine the sautéed vegetables, sliced beef, diced tomatoes, green onions, and black olives.

  2. 6

    Add Toppings

Top the salad with shredded cheddar cheese, sour cream, and drizzle salsa or your favorite dressing over it.

  3. 7

    Toss and Serve

Gently toss the salad to mix all the ingredients and serve immediately.
