Chicken Strips
Serving
Method
Prepare Chicken Strips
- 1
Cut Chicken
Cut each boneless chicken breast into strips, about 1 inch wide.
- 2
Prepare Breading Station
Set up a breading station with three shallow bowls: one for flour, one for beaten eggs mixed with milk, and one for cornstarch mixed with salt, pepper, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, and cayenne pepper.
- 3
Bread Chicken
Dip each chicken strip first in the flour, then in the egg mixture, and finally in the cornstarch mixture. Ensure each strip is well coated.
Fry Chicken Strips
- 4
Heat Oil
In a deep frying pan, heat vegetable oil over medium-high heat until it reaches 350°F (175°C).
- 5
Fry Chicken
Carefully add chicken strips to the hot oil in batches, ensuring not to overcrowd the pan. Fry for about 5-6 minutes or until golden brown and cooked through.
- 6
Drain
Use a slotted spoon to remove the chicken strips from the oil and place them on a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil.
Serve
- 7
Prepare Serving
In a serving basket, place a portion of French fries and top with the fried chicken strips.
- 8
Add Dipping Sauce
Serve with your choice of dipping sauce on the side.
