1

Prepare the Bread

Choose your favorite type of bread, whether it be white, whole grain, or sourdough. Place slices on a clean cutting board.

2

Toast the Bread

Using a toaster, toast the bread slices to your desired level of crispiness. Alternatively, you can use a grill or a skillet over medium heat.

3

Spread Butter

Once toasted, spread 1/2 tablespoon of butter on each slice of bread while still warm.

4

Add Jam or Marmalade

Top each slice of buttered toast with 1 tablespoon of jam or marmalade of your choice.

5

Prep the Potatoes

Wash and peel the potatoes. Cut them into small cubes, about 1-inch in size.

6

Cook the Potatoes

Place the cubed potatoes in a pot of salted water and bring to a boil. Cook for 5-7 minutes until slightly tender. Drain and set aside.

7

Chop Vegetables

While the potatoes are boiling, chop the onion and bell pepper into small dice.

8

Sauté the Vegetables

In a large skillet, heat 3 tablespoons of olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the chopped onion and bell pepper, and sauté for 3-4 minutes until softened.

9

Add Potatoes and Season

Add the drained potatoes to the skillet. Sprinkle with paprika, salt, and black pepper. Stir well to combine.

10

Cook the Home Fries

Cook for an additional 10-15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the potatoes are golden brown and crispy.
