Method
Dough & Base
preheat and prepare
Preheat oven to 500°F (260°C) with a pizza stone or inverted baking sheet on the middle rack for at least 30 minutes. Lightly dust a pizza peel or work surface with the all-purpose flour.
shape dough
Brush a thin layer (about 1 tbs) of olive oil over the dough. On the floured surface, stretch or roll the dough into a 12-inch round (or desired size) leaving a slightly thicker rim for the crust. Transfer the shaped dough to the floured pizza peel or parchment paper for easier transfer.
Sauce & Cheese
sauce
Spread Guy's pizza sauce evenly over the dough, leaving a 1/2-inch border for the crust. Use about 3 tbs of sauce for a 12-inch pizza for a balanced coverage.
cheese
Evenly sprinkle 1.5 cups Grande shredded mozzarella over the sauce. If you ordered double cheese, distribute the additional 0.75 cups evenly on top.
Add Toppings (Meats, Vegetables & Fruit)
meats
Add chosen meat toppings in an even layer. For best results: distribute bacon (cooked and chopped), pepperoni slices, crumbled Italian sausage, diced ham, shredded chicken, seasoned ground beef, salami, and capicola so each slice gets a balanced portion. Use the indicated amounts as guides — avoid piling too high to ensure even cooking.
vegetables & fruit
Add chosen vegetable and fruit toppings: pineapple chunks, thinly sliced green pepper, banana peppers, jalapeños, black olives, mushrooms, tomato, and thinly sliced onion. If using mushrooms or onions, consider sautéing briefly (1–2 minutes) to reduce excess moisture; drain pineapple well. Distribute toppings evenly and avoid overloading (aim for a single layer when possible).
season
Lightly season the assembled pizza with 1/4 tsp kosher salt, a pinch of freshly ground black pepper, and 1/2 tsp dried oregano or Italian seasoning.
Bake & Finish
transfer and bake
Slide the pizza (on the peel or transfer parchment) onto the preheated pizza stone or baking sheet. Bake at 500°F (260°C) for 8–12 minutes, rotating halfway through, until the crust is golden and cheese is bubbly and lightly browned. Baking time depends on oven and topping load.
finish
Remove pizza from oven and let rest 2 minutes. If using sour cream or buffalo sauce as a finish, dollop or drizzle them sparingly over the hot pizza (e.g., 2 tbs sour cream in small dollops or 1 tbs buffalo sauce drizzled). Slice and serve hot.
