Bottled Water (single serving)

Method

Bottled Water (single serving)

1

Sanitize bottle

If using a reusable bottle, wash it with hot soapy water, rinse thoroughly, then fill with boiling water and let sit 2 minutes to sanitize. Pour out the hot water and allow the bottle to cool briefly, or rinse with filtered cold water. If using a sealed disposable bottle, confirm the seal is intact.

2

Prepare ice and garnish (optional)

If you prefer chilled water, wash a few ice cube trays and prepare ice ahead. If using lemon, wash the lemon and cut a thin slice (approx. 3–5 mm).

3

Fill bottle

Hold the bottle upright. Pour 500 ml of filtered or spring water into the bottle. If you want the water cold immediately, add up to 4 ice cubes. If using a lemon slice for flavor, drop it into the bottle.

4

Seal and label

Securely screw on the bottle cap. If desired, label the bottle with the date and contents (helpful for reuse).

5

Serve or store

Serve immediately at desired temperature. To store, keep the bottle capped and refrigerate; consume within 24–48 hours for best taste when opened (longer if unopened and factory-sealed). Discard and wash reusable bottles between uses.
