In a large pot of boiling water, add the shrimp and cook for about 2-3 minutes until they turn pink and opaque. Remove from heat, drain, and rinse under cold water to stop the cooking process. Set aside.

While the shrimp cools, chop the avocado, red onion, tomatoes, cucumbers, and cilantro as specified in the ingredients.
