Cobbler Directions

1

Prepare the Blueberries

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). In a large bowl, combine the fresh blueberries, half of the granulated sugar (1/2 cup), and 1/2 tsp of ground cinnamon. Toss gently to coat the blueberries and set aside.

2

Make the Batter

In another bowl, whisk together the remaining granulated sugar, flour, baking powder, salt, and the remaining 1/2 tsp of cinnamon. Stir in the milk until just combined. Melt the butter and add to the batter, mixing until smooth.

3

Combine and Bake

Pour the batter into a greased 9x13 inch baking dish. Spoon the blueberry mixture evenly over the batter. Drizzle the maple syrup on top of the blueberries. Bake in the preheated oven for 35-40 minutes or until the top is golden brown and a toothpick inserted into the batter comes out clean.

4

Serve

Allow the cobbler to cool slightly before serving. Top each serving with a scoop of vanilla bean ice cream for an extra treat!
