Cooking Instructions
- 1
Prep the Chicken
Season the chicken breast with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning. Heat olive oil in a grill pan over medium heat and grill the chicken for about 6-7 minutes on each side until fully cooked. Remove and let it rest before slicing.
- 2
Cook the Pasta
In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Add the penne pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente. In the last 2 minutes of cooking, add the broccoli florets. Drain and set aside.
- 3
Make the Alfredo Sauce
In a saucepan, heat the heavy cream over medium heat. Mince the garlic and add it to the cream, cooking for about 1 minute until fragrant. Gradually whisk in the Parmesan cheese until melted and the sauce is smooth.
- 4
Combine Everything
Add the cooked pasta and broccoli to the Alfredo sauce, tossing to coat evenly. Slice the grilled chicken and serve on top or mixed in with the pasta.
