OLD FASHIONED

Intense, fruit flavor / fresh, vibrant acidity light-bodied, semi-dry / flavors of citrus, peach & pear

Select ripe Pinot Noir and Riesling grapes. Ensure they are free from rot or damage.

Grape Selection

Crush the grapes gently to extract the juice. You can use a wine press or your hands for this process.

Crushing Grapes

Combine the crushed grape juice with 1 litre of water in a fermentation vessel. Add sugar and yeast. Stir gently to dissolve the sugar.

Fermentation

Cover the fermentation vessel with a clean cloth and let it sit at room temperature. Monitor it for about 7-14 days until fermentation slows down.

Monitoring Fermentation

Once fermentation is complete, add the fresh citrus zest, peach puree, and pear puree to the wine mixture. Stir gently to combine.

Adding Flavor

Allow the mixture to undergo secondary fermentation for an additional 5-7 days in a cool, dark place.

Secondary Fermentation

Refrigerate the wine for a few hours before serving to enhance its refreshing qualities.

Chill the Wine

Fill a wine glass with ice cubes as desired, then pour the chilled rose wine over the ice.

Glass Preparation

Garnish with fresh mint leaves for an aromatic touch.

Garnishing

Serve immediately and enjoy the vibrant flavors of your homemade Elouan Rose.
