1

Prepare glass

Fill a highball or Collins glass with ice to chill it while you measure ingredients. Leave a few ice cubes in the glass for serving.

2

Combine base liquids

In a mixing glass or shaker filled with ice, pour 2 oz vodka, 4 oz chilled black iced tea, and 4 oz chilled fresh lemonade.

3

Adjust sweetness (optional)

Taste a small spoonful. If you prefer a sweeter drink, add 0.5 oz simple syrup (or to taste) and gently stir to incorporate. If you want a brighter lemon flavor, add 0.25 oz fresh lemon juice.

4

Mix and strain

Give the mixture a brief stir (10–15 seconds) in the mixing glass to chill and dilute slightly. Strain into the prepared glass over fresh ice.

5

Garnish and serve

Garnish with a lemon wheel or wedge on the rim and an optional mint sprig. Serve with a straw or stirrer.

6

Notes

To make iced tea quickly: brew strong black tea, chill thoroughly, or use store-bought unsweetened iced tea. For a non-alcoholic version (Arnold Palmer), omit the vodka and optionally increase lemonade or iced tea by 1–2 oz.
