Cooking Instructions

1

Prepare the Ingredients

Chop the scallions, separating the green and white parts.

2

Cook the Beef

In a large skillet, heat vegetable oil over medium-high heat. Add the minced garlic and white parts of the scallions, sautéing for about 1 minute until fragrant.

3

Add Ground Beef

Add the ground beef to the skillet, breaking it apart with a spatula. Cook until browned and fully cooked, about 5-7 minutes.

4

Season the Beef

Stir in the gochujang, soy sauce, and sesame oil. Mix well and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes to heat through.

5

Prepare Crispy Rice

In another skillet, add a little vegetable oil and heat over medium heat. Press the cooked rice into the skillet to form an even layer. Cook until the bottom is crispy and golden brown, about 5-7 minutes.

6

Serve

To serve, place a portion of the crispy rice on a plate, top with the Korean beef mixture, and garnish with the green parts of the scallions. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
