Rich and fudgy brownies.
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x13 inch baking pan or line it with parchment paper.
In a medium saucepan, melt the unsalted butter over low heat. Once melted, remove from heat and let cool slightly.
Stir in granulated sugar and brown sugar into the melted butter until well combined. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in vanilla extract.
In a separate bowl, mix together the flour, cocoa powder, and salt.
Gradually add the dry mixture to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined. Be careful not to overmix.
Fold in the chocolate chips until evenly distributed throughout the batter.
Pour the brownie batter into the prepared baking pan and spread it evenly. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.
Allow the brownies to cool in the pan for at least 10 minutes before cutting into squares and serving.
