Cooking Instructions
Preheat the Oven
Preheat your oven to 325°F (163°C).
Prepare the Ham
Place the ham on a rack in a roasting pan. Score the surface of the ham in a diamond pattern and stud with cloves.
Make the Glaze
In a bowl, mix together brown sugar, honey, and Dijon mustard to create a glaze.
Apply the Glaze
Brush the glaze over the ham, making sure to cover the scored areas.
Add Water
Pour water into the bottom of the roasting pan to keep the ham moist during cooking.
Roast the Ham
Cover the ham loosely with foil and roast in the preheated oven for about 15-18 minutes per pound, or until heated through.
Baste the Ham
Every 30 minutes, baste the ham with the juices from the pan to keep it moist.
Finish Roasting
Remove the foil during the last 30 minutes to allow the glaze to caramelize.
Carve and Serve
Once done, remove the ham from the oven, let it rest for 15 minutes, then carve and serve hot.
