Preparation of Meatballs

Make the Meatball Mixture

In a large bowl, combine ground lamb, minced garlic, chopped parsley, cumin, paprika, salt, black pepper, egg, and breadcrumbs. Mix until well combined.

Form Meatballs

Shape the mixture into meatballs, about 1-1.5 inches in diameter. Place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

Bake the Meatballs

Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Bake the meatballs for 20-25 minutes, or until cooked through.

Cook the Sauce

In a saucepan, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant. Stir in crushed tomatoes, cumin, salt, black pepper, and sugar. Simmer for 15-20 minutes.

Cucumber Mint Raita

Prepare the Raita

In a bowl, mix Greek yogurt, grated cucumber, chopped mint, salt, and lemon juice until well combined. Chill until ready to serve.

On a serving platter, arrange the meatballs topped with roasted tomato cumin sauce. Garnish with crumbled goat cheese, crispy red onions, and serve with cucumber mint raita and grilled baguette slices on the side.
