Crispy Whole Snapper Ingredients
Method
Crispy Whole Snapper Directions
Prepare the Snapper
Rinse the whole snapper under cold water and pat dry with paper towels. Sprinkle salt and black pepper inside and outside the fish. Drizzle with lemon juice and let marinate for about 15 minutes.
Dredge the Snapper
Spread the all-purpose flour on a plate. Lightly coat the marinated snapper in the flour, shaking off any excess.
Heat the Oil
In a large, deep skillet or frying pan, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat until it reaches 350°F (175°C).
Fry the Snapper
Carefully place the dredged snapper into the hot oil. Fry for about 5-7 minutes on each side, or until the skin is golden brown and crispy. Use a slotted spoon to remove the fish and drain on paper towels.
