Method
Assemble Sundae
Prepare sauces that may need warming
If any sauce (hot fudge, peanut butter, marshmallow fluff, caramel, or butterscotch) is too thick, warm gently: place the needed amount in a microwave-safe bowl and microwave in 8–10 second bursts, stirring between each, until pourable but not hot (about 15–25 seconds total). Stir to smooth.
Layer sauces and fruit toppings
Drizzle 3 tablespoons hot fudge over the ice cream, letting some run down the sides. Spoon 2 tablespoons strawberry sauce and 2 tablespoons raspberry sauce in separate small streams over different areas so they remain distinct. Add 2 tablespoons blueberry compote near one side and 3 tablespoons drained pineapple tidbits on another area.
Add nutty & creamy elements
Drizzle 1 tablespoon warmed creamy peanut butter thinly over one scoop so it forms ribbons. Spoon 2 tablespoons marshmallow fluff in a ribbon on another section. If using caramel and butterscotch both, drizzle 2 tablespoons caramel and 2 tablespoons butterscotch in alternating lines across the top.
Add cherry topping and finish sauces
Spoon 2 tablespoons wild cherry topping (including some syrup) near the front so bright red color shows. If you prefer fewer sauces, omit any combination now. Make sure each sauce used appears on the ice cream so the sundae truly reflects the Specialty Sundae selection.
Garnish with sprinkles, jimmies, and chocolate
Sprinkle 1 teaspoon Rylee's Rainbow sprinkles and 1 teaspoon jimmies (chocolate sprinkles) evenly over the top. Scatter 1 tablespoon chocolate shavings or mini chips for texture.
Whipped cream and final cherry
Add 2 tablespoons whipped cream (pipe or dollop) in the center or to the side, then top with 1 maraschino cherry.
Serve immediately
Serve the sundae immediately with a long-handled spoon so all sauces remain at ideal temperature/texture. If preparing multiple sundaes assembly-line style, keep sauces warm and ice cream scoops chilled until plating to prevent melting.
