1. Prepare the Shrimp

In a large bowl, season the shrimp with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and cayenne pepper. Toss to coat evenly.

2. Set Up Breading Station

Prepare three separate shallow dishes: one with cornstarch, one with beaten eggs, and one with panko breadcrumbs.

3. Bread the Shrimp

Dredge each shrimp in cornstarch, then dip into the egg, and finally coat with panko breadcrumbs. Set aside on a plate.

4. Heat the Oil

In a large skillet or frying pan, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat until hot but not smoking.

5. Fry the Shrimp

Carefully add shrimp to the hot oil in batches, frying for about 2-3 minutes per side or until golden brown and cooked through. Remove and drain on paper towels.
