marinated spicy Korean BBQ chicken
In a bowl, combine soy sauce, gochujang, sesame oil, honey, minced garlic, grated ginger, and black pepper. Mix well.
Add the chicken thighs to the marinade, ensuring they are well coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, preferably overnight.
Preheat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Remove the chicken from the marinade, letting the excess drip off. Grill or cook in the skillet for about 5-7 minutes per side, or until the chicken is cooked through and has nice char marks.
Once cooked, remove the chicken from heat and let it rest for a few minutes. Slice and serve garnished with chopped green onions.
