Samgyubsal Marinated in Smoked Garlic
In a blender, combine smoked garlic, soy sauce, brown sugar, sesame oil, black pepper, ginger, and water. Blend until smooth.
Place the pork belly in a large bowl or a resealable plastic bag. Pour the marinade over the pork belly, ensuring it's well-coated. Seal the bag or cover the bowl and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight.
Preheat your grill or smoker to a medium-high heat, around 180-200°C (350-400°F).
Remove the pork belly from the marinade, allowing excess marinade to drip off. Grill the pork belly for about 15-20 minutes on each side, or until nicely charred and cooked through.
Slice the grilled pork belly into bite-sized pieces and garnish with chopped green onions. Serve hot with your favorite side dishes.
