1

Prepare the glass

Rub the lime wedge around the rim of a highball or Collins glass. Pour the coarse salt onto a small plate, then dip the moistened rim into the salt to coat evenly. Set the glass aside.

2

Build the cocktail

Fill the prepared glass with ice (about 1 cup). Add 2 oz Patrón Silver Tequila and 0.75 oz fresh lime juice directly over the ice. If you prefer a slightly sweeter Paloma, add 0.25 oz simple syrup.

3

Add soda and finish

Top with 4 oz chilled pink grapefruit soda. Gently stir once or twice with a bar spoon to combine, taking care not to flatten the soda.

4

Garnish and serve

Garnish with the lime wedge and optional grapefruit slice on the rim. Serve immediately with a straw or stirrer.
