Deal Setup (makes unlimited-style soft drink station for ~12 servings)

Method

Deal Setup (makes unlimited-style soft drink station for ~12 servings)

1

Prepare syrups and carbonated water

Choose a well-ventilated, level table or counter for the drink station. Chill carbonated water until cold. If using syrup concentrates that require dilution, mix each concentrate with cold water according to manufacturer instructions in separate labelled pitchers or bottles (example: 1 part syrup to 4 parts water). Keep all syrups refrigerated or on ice to stay cold.

2

Station layout

Arrange 3–4 pitchers or dispensers: one for cola mix, one for lemon-lime, one for orange, one for fruit punch, and an optional one for ginger ale. Place a large bucket or dispenser with carbonated water (or set of chilled bottles) nearby, plus a container with ice, lemon and lime wedges, mint, cups and straws. Keep simple syrup available for guests who want sweeter drinks or mocktails.

3

Assembling a single serving

To make one 12–16 oz (360–475 ml) serving: Fill a cup about two-thirds full with ice (about 250–300 ml ice). Add 45–60 ml (3–4 tbs) of the chosen syrup/mix to the cup. Slowly top up with chilled carbonated water, leaving 1–2 cm headspace to avoid overflow. Stir gently with a straw or spoon to combine. Taste and adjust sweetness: add 15–30 ml simple syrup if more sweetener is desired, or add more carbonated water if too sweet.

4

Garnish and serve

Garnish with a lemon or lime wedge on the rim or a mint sprig if desired. Serve with a straw. For self-serve signage, post recommended syrup-to-soda ratios (example: 3–4 TBS syrup per 12–16 oz cup) and allergy notes if applicable.

5

Refill & maintain

Keep extra chilled carbonated water and syrup on hand to refill pitchers. Replace ice frequently to keep drinks cold. Stir or shake syrup containers gently before refilling to maintain consistent flavor. Clean spills and rinse cups/straws area often to maintain hygiene.
