Carbonated Base

Fruit & Flavor Add-ins

Optional Soda Mixers (for variety)

Method

Preparation

1

Chill equipment

Place glasses and any pitcher you will use in the refrigerator or freezer for 10–15 minutes to chill. This helps keep the sodas cold longer without diluting them with ice.

2

Prep fruit and mint

Wash the lemon, lime, and orange. Slice into thin rounds or half-moons. Gently clap the mint leaves between your palms to release aroma and set aside. Drain maraschino cherries.

Mixing the Base (makes about 10 cups / ~2.4 L)

3

Combine carbonated components

In a large pitcher, pour 4 cups club soda (or sparkling water), 2 cups cola, and 2 cups lemon-lime soda. Stir gently once or twice to combine — do not vigorously stir to preserve carbonation.

4

If you want a sweeter or more pronounced flavored soda, add 1/4 cup simple syrup and up to 2 tsp cola syrup or concentrate. Stir gently to incorporate. For a fruity note, add 2 tablespoons grenadine and stir gently.

Serving Individual Glasses

5

Add ice and garnish

Fill each chilled glass with 4–6 ice cubes (or a scoop of crushed ice if preferred). Add a couple of citrus slices (lemon, lime or orange), 1–2 mint leaves, and a maraschino cherry to each glass.

6

Pour soda

Pour the mixed soda base over the ice and garnishes, leaving about 1/2 inch at the top. For variety, substitute 1–2 cups of the base with ginger ale, tonic water, or 1 cup fruit juice to create alternatives (e.g., ginger-lime soda, tonic cola spritz, or orange soda).

7

Adjust sweetness and flavor

Taste and adjust: add additional simple syrup 1 tsp at a time for more sweetness, or a squeeze of fresh lemon/lime for brightness. If using grenadine, add a small drizzle to sweeten and color.

8

Final touch

Stir gently with a straw or stirrer and serve immediately to preserve carbonation.

Refills & Unlimited Service Tips

9

Keep extra bottles/cans of each soda chilled in a refrigerator or ice bucket. Refill glasses by adding more ice as needed and topping up with the mixed base or straight soda for variety. Prepare a small station with additional garnishes (extra citrus slices, mint, cherries) and optional syrups so guests can customize their drinks.

10

For high-volume service, prepare several pitchers of the base in advance and keep them chilled. Replace ice frequently to avoid dilution from melted ice.
