Mix the Cocktail
In a mixing glass, add 2 oz of Scotch whisky, 1 oz of sweet vermouth, and 2 dashes of orange bitters.
Stir and Chill
Fill the mixing glass with ice and stir well for about 30 seconds until the mixture is well chilled.
Strain into Glass
Using a strainer, pour the mixture into a chilled cocktail glass.
Garnishing
Add the Garnish
Express the oils from a slice of orange peel over the drink, then drop it into the glass. Finally, add one maraschino cherry as a finishing touch.
