Ingredients: 8 pieces flour tortillas; 1 cup ground beef; 1 cup shredded beef; 1 cup cooked chicken, shredded; 1 cup cheese, shredded (cheddar or Monterey Jack); 1 cup guacamole; 1 cup sour cream; 2 cups oil (for frying)

Crisp flour tortillas, filled with ground beef, shredded beef or chicken, cheese guacamole and sour cream.

In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned. Drain excess fat. If using shredded beef or chicken, ensure it's heated through.

Prepare the Filling

Take a flour tortilla and place a small amount of ground beef, shredded beef, or chicken in the center. Top with some shredded cheese. Roll the tortilla tightly to form a flauta.

Assemble the Flautitas

In a deep frying pan, heat oil over medium-high heat. Once hot, fry the flautitas in batches, turning occasionally, until golden brown and crisp, about 2-3 minutes each side. Drain on paper towels.

Fry the Flautitas

Serve hot with guacamole and sour cream on the side.
