Method

Cake Preparation

1

Preheat Oven

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9x13 inch baking dish.

2

Mix Dry Ingredients

In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.

3

Cream Butter and Sugar

In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened butter and granulated sugar together until light and fluffy, about 3-5 minutes.

4

Add Eggs and Vanilla

Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Mix in the vanilla extract.

5

Combine Mixtures

Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, alternating with the milk. Mix until just combined.

6

Bake Cake

Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish and smooth the top. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.

7

Cool Cake

Let the cake cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then remove it to a wire rack to cool completely.

8

Combine Milks

In a mixing bowl, combine the sweetened condensed milk, evaporated milk, and whole milk. Whisk until smooth.

9

Soak the Cake

Once the cake has cooled, poke holes all over the top using a fork or skewer. Slowly pour the milk mixture over the cake, allowing it to soak in.

Topping Preparation

10

Prepare Topping

In a bowl, mix the creme fraiche with powdered sugar until smooth. Spread evenly over the soaked cake.

11

Add Fruit

Top the cake with seasonal fruit of your choice. Serve chilled.
