Banana Praline Sauce

Method

Bread Pudding

1

Prepare the Bread Mixture

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Tear the stale bread into bite-sized pieces and place them in a large mixing bowl.

2

Mix Wet Ingredients

In a separate bowl, whisk together the milk, heavy cream, sugar, eggs, vanilla extract, cinnamon, and salt until well combined.

3

Combine and Soak

Pour the wet mixture over the bread pieces and gently fold until all the bread is soaked. Let it sit for about 15 minutes.

4

Bake

Transfer the mixture into a greased baking dish and bake for 45-50 minutes, or until the pudding is set and the top is golden.

Banana Praline Sauce

5

Make the Sauce

In a saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Stir in the brown sugar until it dissolves.

6

Add Cream and Bananas

Slowly add the heavy cream while stirring constantly. Then, add the sliced bananas and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes.

7

Finish the Sauce

Stir in the pecans and vanilla extract, and remove from heat. Let it cool slightly before serving.
