Cooking Instructions
Prepare the Tofu
Drain the tofu and press it between paper towels to remove excess moisture. Cut the tofu into bite-sized cubes.
Coat the Tofu
In a bowl, toss the tofu cubes with cornstarch until they are evenly coated.
Heat the Oil
In a large skillet or frying pan, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat until hot.
Fry the Tofu
Carefully add the coated tofu cubes to the hot oil and fry until golden brown and crispy, about 3-4 minutes on each side. Remove the tofu and drain on paper towels.
Make the Sauce
In a small saucepan, combine soy sauce, honey (or maple syrup), sriracha, and minced garlic. Heat over medium heat until the mixture is warm and slightly thickened.
Toss the Tofu
In a large bowl, toss the crispy tofu with the sweet and spicy sauce until well coated.
Garnish and Serve
Sprinkle the toasted sesame seeds and sliced green onions over the tofu before serving.
